At A Shot in The Dark we try and provide an environment that differs from the corporate, branded chains that predominate in Cardiff. We believe (and the independent put us in their top UK 50 coffeehouses) that our coffee is amongst the best. Our roaster is also a small independent business which has a dedication to quality and a commitment to sustainability.

Likewise we take pride in our food which is all prepared freshly by us or by small local suppliers who deliver daily. This can mean a longer wait than at some pre-packed alternatives, but we endeavour to make the wait worth it.

Our house wines offer great value for quality, and we have introduced a new range of wines for those who like a change. We have also introduced a new cocktail list and a range of cheaper house spirits with great prices for doubles.

Happy Hour: 2 of any 1 cocktail £8, Saturdays and Sundays from mid-day, Week-days from 5pm.

As a Special Offer, Eat Out In users can have use of the upstairs function room at No charge for parties of 25 or more people (conditions apply please contact us for details).
